Police Rotation Program
Here's How It Works! The Police finds a homeless family or person and checks them out.

They check for:
- Outstanding warrants
- Danger to self or others
- Mental Illness
- Weapons
- Drugs
Lastly, the police asks the person if they want help to get off the street.
Police Contact the Call Center
The Call Center calls the Lead volunteer from the "Church of the Month" with.....
- Homeless person's name and location
- Time that the police call was received
- Officer's name and phone number
The Church sends 2 or more volunteers to go respond to the call together
THE HOMELESS RESPONSE TEAM
- Meets the homeless family or homeless individual
- Access the needs
- Determine actions
- Takes actions
- Writes up a summary on a provided summary form
- Reports back to Project TOUCH coordinator
- Conducts a post-month debriefing
